Warming Body Rub Recipe

Homemade Warming Body Rub
How to make a warming body rub that soothes and relaxes sore muscles.

If you have just finished a hard workout or have been busy moving about throughout the day, chances are your muscles are going to be sore tomorrow morning.

The warming sensation from this soothing heat rub is sure calm and relax your tired muscles.

Ingredients:
2 tbsp. Coconut Oil
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 tbsp. Beeswax
1/2 tsp. Ginger Powder
5 drops Eucalyptus Oil
5 drops Clove Essential Oil
3 drops Peppermint Oil

Supplies Needed:
Small Stove Pot
Heat Proof Glass Measuring Bowl (or cup)
Funnel
Coffee Filter
Small Container with Lid
Heat Proof Measuring Cup

Put all ingredients together except for the essential oils in a small bowl and set aside. Add a few inches of water to the pot and place the bowl inside the pot, but not where it is full submerged in the water. Just a couple inches or so.

Bring the water to a simmer and let the mix steep for around 20 minutes.

Put a coffee filter inside of the funnel and place the funnel in the measuring bowl.

Once melted, pour mixture into funnel to strain out ginger. Take your time, and be very careful.

Add your essential oils, mix together, and transfer to an air-tight container. Set aside for 3-4 hours or until solid.

Just swipe your fingers across anytime you have a sore muscle or other types of aches. Such as on your knees, your hands, or shoulders is where this mixture works great.
