Clarifying Facial Foam
DIY Foaming Face Wash
Breakouts are annoying and unattractive. Sometimes in the rush of trying to get rid of acne, we don’t often pay attention to the harmful chemicals contained within most skincare products.
Keep your skin smooth, clean and clear using an all natural, homemade, clarifying foaming facial wash that you can make at-home in just a few minutes.
Items Needed for this Wash:
1 cup filtered water
6 tbsp. liquid Castile soap
1 tbsp. Jojoba Oil
1 tbsp. Tea Tree Oil
1 tbsp. Raw Honey
Lemon Juice or Essential Oils
The liquid Castile soap is all natural and is what gives your wash that foaminess.
Tea tree oil contains antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antimicrobial properties which work great to eliminate breakouts and help to clear up the skin.
Jojoba oil combined with the sunflower oil work together as a powerful moisturizer, keeping the skin hydrated.
Directions:
First, you’ll need to take about 2 cups water and bring to a boil. Once cooled, transfer 1 cup of water to the side.
Add soap to the water, then add oils and honey. If you are using lemon juice add around 1 1/2 tsp. If you are using essential oils, add around 10-15 drops.
Transfer mixture by carefully pouring into a clean foaming soap dispenser. Use daily by squirting a little bit in the hand and applying to face.
Works great for in the morning and at night before you go to sleep.
If you haven’t used it all within 2 weeks, throw away remaining mixture and make a new batch.
The oils may separate if sitting for a while. This is OK, as you just need to shake up the bottle a little bit before use.
