Certain brands of toothpaste contain tar and other harmful ingredients that cause long term damage.
People don’t often think about their toothpaste and many are shocked when they discover some of the harmful ingredients found in many common brands.
Why spend $9.00 for a tube of tar when you can make your own natural toothpaste at home using a few simple items.
Add the coconut oil and baking soda and mix together. Add a few drops of peppermint oil.
The peppermint oil is to give your mouth that fresh minty feeling.
Mix until pasty, not clumpy.
When you brush your teeth, it’s important to understand you are not scrubbing your teeth, you are massaging.
Dentists recommend brushing in circular motions.
Plaque is easily removed and over brushing can strip away the enamel on the teeth, allowing for cavities to form.
Rinse thoroughly.
