How To Stop Dandruff At Home
How to get rid of dandruff and remove product buildup with this DIY scalp treatment.
This wonderful remedy will leave your scalp feeling refreshed and your hair looking shiny and feeling super soft.
This multi-use rinse is great for removing buildup, removing dandruff and relieving irritation and itchiness in the scalp.
Chemicals in certain shampoos and dyes will cause the scalp to dry out and become flaky causing dandruff.
This recipe is done in two parts.
First Part – The Scrub
Ingredients:
1 tbsp. Coconut Oil
1 tbsp. Almond Oil
1/2 tbsp. Lime Juice
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Aloe Vera
5 drops Tea Tree Oil
Second Part – The Rinse
Ingredients:
1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. Sea Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
What To Do:
Combine ingredients together in the first part until smooth and creamy. Apply directly to scalp while your hair is wet.
Massage with your finger tips and evenly distribute the mixture throughout your hair.
Put your hair up in a hair net or shower cap to prevent to mixture from getting all over.
Now onto the next part…
Combine the ingredients in the second part to make your rinse. After you have combined and mixed everything together, remove shower cap/hair net.
Wait! Before you use the rinse,try and remove as much of the mixture from your hair as you can. You really don;t want coconut oil to harden in your drain pipes.
Discard any mixture in the trash and rinse out hair as much a you can using the rinse.
Thoroughly rinse hair with water and then condition one time.
This can be done 1-2 a month and up to 3 times per month, depending on how often you deal with dandruff.
