How to make your own lip gloss using natural ingredients for those soft, kissable lips.
Ingredients:
1/2 tbsp. Cocoa Butter
2 tsp. Beeswax Pellets
1 tsp. Olive Oil
1/2 tsp. Castor Oil
1/2 tsp. Sesame Oil
1/4 tsp. Vitamin E Oil
1 drop Eucalyptus Essential Oil (optional)
1 drop Peppermint Essential Oil (optional)
Also Needed:
1 tbsp. Fresh Raspberries
or 2 drops Red Food Coloring
What To Do:
In a small glass jar, place the coco butter and beeswax pellets together.
Fill 2 cups of water in a medium sauce pan and put over a low heat on the stove top.
Place the glass jar in the water and slowly stir the mixture using a wooden spoon or stick until melted.
Keep the heat on a low setting as you don’t want your mixture to burn.
After a few minutes, remove from heat and add your remaining ingredients.
Take your fresh raspberries and mash them together, add a few drops of raspberry juice to give it that vibrant red color.
You can also use a few drops of food coloring.
Add any essential oils and stir one more time using a wooden stick.
Transfer mixture to a small balm container with lid for easier storage.
Once fully hardened your balm will be ready t use and can be stored for up to a month.
